MESSAGE FROM PAST CHAIRMEN
At the Last Meeting of the Federation of Square and Round Dancers of SC the majority of the members clubs voted in favor of placing an "INTENT to bid" for the 2017 National Square and Round Dance Convention. In order to begin to prepare for this big event we are presently in the process of enlisting the help of members from South and North Carolina to fill key Committee Positions. If you have served or are willing to serve on any of the committees please contact Richard or Barbara Walker. You will find contact information on the South Carolina Federation website (scsquaredance.com) please look at the current officers and scroll down to the Past Chairman. You may also find contact information in the "Carolina Caller" We need to enlist the help of 50 couples by the end of May 2012 in order to be able to place the intent at the end of June 2012 at the Spokane Washington Convention. Please consider this request seriously it is TIME for South Carolina to "step up" and join the "2017 TEAM"...
